Project management

Prof. Robert Holyst, the Project Coordinator, has an extensive experience in leadership and management, i.e. he is a head of the research group Soft Condensed Matter and a member of several research funding committees, incl. ERC panel. 2010-2015 he was the Director of the IPC. Prof. Holyst was a coordinator of the successful project “NOBLESSE - Nanotechnology, Biomaterials and alternative Energy Sources for ERA integration” financed from the 7FP (budget: EUR 3.8 m). He is currently a coordinator of the NaMeS Project (“Interdisciplinary NAnoscience School: from phenoMEnology to applicationS”) implemented under Horizon 2020, MSCA, Co-fund (budget ca. EUR 2.3 m). He has outstanding experience in conducting doctorates - he supervised and promoted 16 PhDs.

Current research topics: soft matter, biologistics, biological chemistry, statistical physics, techniques: FCS, PCS, capillary electrophoresis TDA. Web of Science bibliometric data: publications 217 (and 3 books, one in Springer Verlag 2012), total citations >3200, h-index=32; more than 40 patents applications, 15 patents granted (incl. USA, the Netherlands, Switzerland).

 

Agnieszka Tadrzak, the Project Manager, has extensive experience in grant management, cooperation with business and supporting process of commercialization of research results. She is as well the Project Manager of the NaMeS project, founded by EC under Horizon 2020, MSCA, Co-fund. She was also responsible for the full certification process underlying being granted the right to use the logo "HR Excellence in Research".

Since 2004 Agnieszka Tadrzak has been dealing with the projects financed from the European funds, initially working in the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, where she was, in particular, responsible for programming and implementing two operational programmes (the Sectoral Operational Programme “Increase of the competitiveness of enterprises” and the Operational Programme “Innovative Economy”). She was also a member of panels evaluating investment and training project. Later, working at an advisory company – Accreo Taxand (European Advisory Services Team) she advised to many Polish and international companies on obtaining funds from external sources (public and private). Among her clients were: General Electric, Bridgestone, Lafarge, Taiga Mistral, EDP Renewables, SII and Bericap. Total funds raised for her clients from various sources exceeded EUR 100 m.
