Saeed Samaei was born in Tehran, where he received his M.Sc. in Photonics from Shahid Beheshti University in 2016. At the beginning of 2017 he came to Poland to join Biomedical Optics Laboratory leaded by Prof. Adam Liebert (at IBIB PAN), and worked as an early stage researcher in a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN-ETN) program project. He developed an instrument based on time-domain diffuse correlation spectroscopy (TD DCS) for sensing optical and dynamical properties of biological tissues.

Currently, Saeed is pursuing his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Doctoral School of Information and Biomedical Technologies Polish Academy of Sciences, and also he is a member of Physical Optics and Biophotonics (POB) group leaded by Prof. Wojtkowski, where he is working on image distortion removal by Spatio-Temporal Optical Coherence manipulation.
