Jadwiga Milkiewicz has obtained her MSc in Quantum Chemistry at Jan Dlugosz Academy in Częstochowa. She spent one year in scientific company Fastlite, in France, working on Acoustooptic Programmable Dispersive Filter for mid-IR. She moved to UK where at Univeristy of Leeds, she worked on gas phase spectroscopy, using multiphoton ionization. She finished her work at University of Leeds with second master degree - in Physical Chemistry. She moved back to Poland where she joined Laser Center at IPC PAS. She has been enroled at International Doctoral Studies at IPC PAS with her project being focused on kinetics of photoinduced bimolecular reactions in biologically related media, mostly using fluorescence up-conversion with femtosecond resolution. Recently she joined POB team to work on two-photon excited fluorescence of the eye retina.
