IONS Conference on Optics, Atoms and Laser Application

The aim of the Piotr Węgrzyn business trip was to participate in the annual conference: IONS Conference on Optics, Atoms, and Laser Application organized by the University of Otago, The Optical Society (OSA). He presented a talk, based on his research conducted in Physical Optics and Biophotonics Research Group from IPC PAS - “Spatiotemporal Optical Coherence Manipulation (STOC) – a new tool for microscopy“. The presentation was very well received by the audience and during coffee breaks, Piotr received numerous questions regarding the potential application of the STOC technique in other areas of science. As part of the conference, he also visited local laboratories at the University of Otago.
