The Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit

Julia Sudyka, Alejandra Consejo and Paulina Niedźwiedziuk, members of prof. Wojtkowski group participated in Women in Tech Summit conferences. This is the biggest meeting of women in technology, female inventors, IT students, and representatives of high-tech industry in Europe and Asia.

Alejandra Consejo and Paulina Niedźwiedziuk attended different workshops, listened to plenary speeches about self-motivation and women’s role in technology. They also broadened her business network during both Big Smart Celebration and in direct discussion with representatives of different companies. Additionally, Paulina attended workshops from Amazon and learned about four discussion styles and how to talk with people manifesting any of those styles.

Julia Sudyka took part in a discussion on climate change and participated in lectures on the situation of women in the scientific community. She also took part in the workshop "Programming in Python – machine learning in the analysis of brain imaging data", and in the workshop focused on the development of a career ("Work hard. Have fun. Create a story. How to successfully interview").

The strong highlight of the event was the possibility to interact with many IT and STEM-related company representatives in the context of future career prospects.
